Let’s Recap!
Thursday, I received 1 out of 2 photos from a photoshoot I did with Rex Thomas for his photo journalism project on poverty, illiteracy, and many other issues we face globally. I was very excited about this and can’t wait to see the next photo as well as his other future work! I love being around inspired individuals.
Friday, I attended a Masquerade Ball with my boy who refers to himself as “THE Dillon”. Invited by Widley Banatte. I definitely enjoyed myself. Took hours to design my mask!! Wish I’d receive a copy of all of the photos taken that night! More are on my Facebook page.
Saturday, I celebrated my nephew’s life w/ him at my favorite restaurant! (I was surprised he chose Shiro’s of Japan! But was glad he did!) He received a new MacBook like he’s been wanting! Now I’m going to Skype him like there’s no tomorrow.
Sunday- I was supposed to have my boys come over to watch some scary movies! It was so freezing and I felt a bit too cozy in my bed that absolutely nothing happened. I wasn’t upset about it either! I needed to wind down.
Last, but not least…I must say that I went overboard. My mom asked for me to bake some of my cookies for dessert. I said, “Let’s do something different!” I had saved a recipe from foodnetwork.com for doughnuts and decided to give it a go! Then, we got nostalgic about the pizzas I’ve made in the past. So, I baked a pizza pie topped with caramelized onions, bell pepper and bacon. With that being said! Here are some pics dedicated to the end of a beautiful weekend!
