I’ve been personally pondering the miracle of Long Distance Relationships. You can feel like you have found “that person” but time and distance is that huge obstacle keeping you apart. Do you try to “tough-it-out” and initiate one?
The first question is, how often would you both be able to physically meet each other? Is it every weekend? Every month? Every 3-6 months? I personally feel one of the benefits of a regular relationship is the fact that you can see each other AS YOU WISH. Is it enough to settle down with someone so far and still end up feeling lonely?
The one exception that I feel is acceptable, is if the two people involved initiated a regular relationship which then BECAME a long distance arrangement. That’s different. Everyone has their own limits of tolerance. What would be your limit? If you both have different opinions on the matter, do you still keep in touch? Where do you go from there?
