I had the honor and privilege of working in Loíza, Puerto Rico with Spike Lee as “Mrs. Jennifer García” in episode 7 of the second season of his Netflix hit series, “She’s Gotta Have It”… appropriately titled, “She’s Gotta Have It, Too”. It was written by Andrew “Lemon” Andersen and it was a pleasure meeting everybody on set. The vibes were all positive and loving. Definitely a fun crew to work with and DeWanda Wise was lovely to share a scene with…Miss “Nola” was truly a darling…and don’t get me started on that auténtica comida criolla!
It was certainly a dream come true to be an actor in a Spike Lee joint and to work with the 40 Acres and a Mule family! Definitely keep an eye out for the date of the premiere of the second season of this Netflix television series! I’ll keep you in the loop and posted on what I’m up to next and when it’ll pop up on Netflix!
